Visitor car parking
Visitors may only park in car park C. Visitors must have a valid Pay By Phone session or a visitor hanging permit provided by the University. All other parking bays are for permit holders only from 08:00 -18:00.
Please note that parking spaces are limited, especially during term, and we encourage visitors to use public transport where possible.
Visitors may park in any parking bay outside the restricted hours, or at weekends for a charge per session of £0.50 - this can be paid through the Pay By Phone app.

Our parking permit income will continue to subsidise sustainable transport alternatives. At present this income contributes towards the shuttle bus from St David’s station, the Stagecoach UNI bus services, discounted bus tickets, shower and facilities for cyclists and walkers. Public transport
The University is within easy walking distance of Exeter city centre which is well served by public transport.
By bus/coach
The Streatham Campus is served by the UNI route. The UNI bus route includes St Luke’s Campus, the City Centre and Streatham Campus. Download the UNI Bus Timetable (PDF).
National Express coaches (08705 808080) call at Exeter Coach Station. The Coach Station is a short walk to the High Street where you can catch the local D bus which will take you to the Streatham Campus.
By rail
Exeter has two railway stations - Exeter St David's (main station) and Central. Exeter St David's Station is approximately 10 minutes walk from the Streatham Campus and taxis are available. The average journey time from London Paddington is 2 hours 30 minutes to Exeter.

By taxi
Apple Taxis Exeter (01392 666666) have a dedicated taxi rank on campus. Apple Taxis have offices at both Exeter St David's rail station and Exeter International Airport
By plane
The main airports to the UK are London Heathrow and London Gatwick. However, there are a few flights to the smaller airpoirts at Bristol and Exeter.
Connections from airports
- From London Heathrow. Take the Heathrow express to London Paddington for connecting train to Exeter St David’s. Alternatively take the Coach from London Heathrow to Exeter.
- From London Gatwick. Take the train to either Exeter St David’s or Exeter Central. Please note that there will be train changes on route.
- From Bristol. Take the coach to Bristol Temple Meads for connecting train to Exeter. Alternatively there are few coahes from the airport to Exeter.
- From Exeter Airport. Take the number 4A bus to Exeter or take a taxi.
